We operate a ‘colour card’ service for school lunches.
Children will have the choice of three main course meals; two hot meals and one sandwich choice.
Red and green choices are the warm meals and the blue choice is the sandwich, this is clearly colour co-ordinated on the menu.
At morning registration children will choose either red, green or blue and this information is passed to the cook. The meals are cooked to order, ensuring all children receive their preferred choice regardless of what sitting their class is on.
At lunchtime children will be given either a red, green or blue card to indicate their choice, which they pass to the lunch servers. This speeds up the queuing system.
Each day there will be a choice of a hot pudding, yoghurt and a biscuit or fresh fruit for dessert.
Menus are on a 3-week cycle and parents can view the menus for the rest of the school year below.
The cost of school lunches remains the same at £2.05 for Key Stage 2 children.
